Visual Sound Wednesdays

Visual Sound Wednesdays is a weekly audiovisual programme held in the heart of Trastevere, Rome, at Pasquino – Art Center, curated by Gianluca Del Gobbo. The series is conceived as a meeting point and experimental platform dedicated to contemporary audiovisual arts, offering a regular space for artists, musicians and visual performers.

Every Wednesday the programme unfolds in two main moments:

• 6:00 PM → 12:00 AM — AVscapes
  a continuous audiovisual selection combining video art, live visuals, generative environments and works by international artists from the AVnode network.
• 9:00 PM → 9:45 PM — AV Live Performance
  a live audiovisual set where sound and images are generated and manipulated in real time, transforming the venue into an immersive environment.

Visual Sound Wednesdays is designed as a recurring meeting point for the local community and visiting artists, an accessible and experimentation-friendly format where electronic music, live cinema, video mapping and generative visuals meet in an informal yet carefully curated setting.

The project encourages exchange between emerging artists and international professionals, helping to strengthen Rome’s digital arts scene while creating an open space where audiences and artists can meet, share experiences and discover new audiovisual expressions.
